Release notes

    • Peer review now works for video assignments too: reviewers watch instead of reading, with the same blind identity protection as written submissions — though Folio tells you upfront that a video can still show a presenter's face or voice.
    • Discovery's under-the-radar mode now searches arXiv, DOAJ and Europe PMC for the newest papers too, so it can surface recent, lightly-cited work those sources used to leave out.

    • The editor's claim search now tells you plainly when a search failed, with a way to retry, instead of quietly saying no sources were found.
    • Exporting citations to BibTeX now guards against a stray trailing newline, the same fix RIS exports already had.
    • A Chicago notes-and-bibliography footnote that used to crash the editor is now caught, and falls back to a short citation instead.
    • Before you choose how to disclose AI use, a breakdown of what the AI actually contributed now shows right next to that toggle.
    • Surveyor can now import an existing Qualtrics study straight from its .qsf file, with a preview to review before anything is brought in.
    • A Prolific study can now hand participants back to Prolific automatically, using a completion URL or code you save once.
    • A source that was never checked for retraction now gets checked automatically on a running schedule, instead of staying unchecked indefinitely.
    • A source with only an arXiv link and no DOI on file can now be checked for retraction too.
