Research figures, from your data to your paper

Folio Studio pairs a spreadsheet with a layered canvas. Charts read the sheet, labels and significance brackets sit on top, and PRISMA, CONSORT and forest plots are built in. Every figure saves to your account and goes into your paper in one step.

Free with a Folio account. Studio exports vector SVG and PDF, PNG for screens or print, and TIFF at 300 or 600 dpi.

What Studio does

  1. A spreadsheet that feeds the chartsPaste from Excel, Google Sheets or a journal table. Formulas work, and every chart updates as the numbers change.
  2. Layers, like a design toolAdd titles, arrows, shapes, images and significance brackets. Align, stack and lock them, then export at print resolution.
  3. Research diagrams built inPRISMA 2020 and CONSORT 2010 flow diagrams check that their counts add up. Forest plots pool studies with fixed or random effects and draw the funnel plot.
  4. Saved to your accountFigures save as you work and open on any device. Two open tabs never overwrite each other.
  5. Into your paperSend a figure to a Folio draft with its caption, and bring it back to Studio to edit.
