A public researcher directory
/directory is a searchable listing of researchers who've turned on a public profile — search by name or handle, filter by institution or field. Each card shows affiliation, field, ORCID (if linked), how many Integrity Certificates they've published, and how many publications they have, with an institution-confirmed badge when it's backed by a real enrollment record rather than free-text. Nothing new to opt into: if your profile is already public, you're already listed.
Your certificate page can now show the writing, not just the proof
Publishing an Integrity Certificate has always given you a /verify page with the integrity report — timeline, disclosures, verification stats. You can now also opt in to showing the document itself on that same page, rendered the same way your DOCX and PDF exports are, so what a reader sees can't drift from what you'd export.
This is off by default and sits below the certificate, not above it — the proof is still the point, the writing is what the proof is about. If you edit the document after publishing, the page says plainly that what's shown is the current text, not necessarily what was certified. Fixed
- Vancouver and IEEE reference numbers in exported files could be wrong. Some export paths built the bibliography without the numbering the in-app panel uses, so a Vancouver export could print every entry as
[1], or an IEEE entry could carry a second, mismatched bracket. What you proofread in the editor now matches what's in the downloaded file, across print/PDF, DOCX, and Classroom exports. - Retracted or flagged sources didn't show up in BibTeX/RIS/CSL-JSON exports. The manuscript and export-guard warnings already caught this; the reference-list export formats themselves were silently missing the flag. Retracted entries now carry a note in all three formats.
- The account-deletion screen showed one generic warning no matter what you'd lose. It now tells you the real numbers — documents, sources, and published certificates you're about to delete — and calls out live certificates on their own, since a published
/verifylink someone else is relying on going dead is the one loss other people feel too. - A course's calendar feed link never expired. A dropped student's saved
.icssubscription kept serving live session details (room, video-call link) indefinitely. Archiving or otherwise changing a course's status now invalidates previously issued links. - Domain-based enrollment could be opened to the wrong people. Institutions using email-domain enrollment could accidentally allow a public webmail domain (e.g. gmail.com) or unknowingly claim a domain — including a subdomain — another institution already had, letting someone self-provision into a tenant they shouldn't reach. Both are now blocked at save time.
- Running multiple Discovery Agents could email you the same paper more than once. Agents now dedupe against each other and against your Radar digest before sending, instead of each one sending independently.
