Honest Null Results: say what you found, even when it's nothing
Publication bias buries null and negative findings because nothing rewards reporting them. Folio already gives a null result the same provenance stamp and the same permalink as a positive one — the only thing missing was a way to say which one you have. There's now an opt-in Outcome field on Folio Pages and Preprints: positive, null, mixed, or nothing at all. It's stated by the author and never inferred — there's no classifier guessing at your result, on purpose, because a guess wearing the same badge as a declaration would make the badge worthless. When you turn a page's public visibility off, the statement disappears with it. You'll see it as a plainly-labelled badge on the verification page and on your public profile's list of verified work.
Assign academic advisors, and let students see who theirs is
Institutions can now assign an academic advisor to a student from the registrar's student record, with a full audit trail of every change. Advisors get their own advisee list, and students can see their advisor's name and email right on their own record — all three were missing until now, even though the underlying data column has quietly existed since early August.
Every contact link on the site is now a real form
The general contact page, the institutions contact page, and Surveyor's "report a concern" link used to just open your email client with a mailto: link. All three are now proper forms that submit through the site, land in the right inbox, and are protected the same way our other public forms are (spam and rate-limit checks included).
Discovery Agent personas actually search differently now
Eight of Folio's eleven Discovery Agent personas were quietly returning byte-identical results — Sentinel, Forager, and Prospector all searched the same window with the same citation floor, and two more groups of personas did the same. Every persona's search settings are now unique, so picking a different one actually changes what it finds. We also rewrote a couple of persona descriptions that promised to surface under-cited or overlooked work — a promise the underlying search, which always ranks by citation count, could never actually keep.

- Shared Discovery Agent source lists now show up in the site-wide feed, not just to someone who already has the direct link — the same visibility publications and reviews already had.
- A public Discovery Agent share page can now show that a finding connects to something in your own library, without ever revealing what that connection is — the verdict and the private draft it relates to stay yours alone.
- Discovery Agent digest emails no longer arrive one-per-agent. If you run several agents that are all due in the same daily pass, you now get a single email with a section for each, instead of a flood of separate messages.
Fixed
- Referral credit could get dropped when someone signed up after opening a shared document link. Every other share surface (verification pages, agent shares) already passed the referral code through to sign-up; the anonymous document preview now does too.
- The Delphi survey's between-rounds workspace was still cramped on tablet-sized screens. It stacks into a single column up to 899px wide now, matching the same rail-width rule the Distribute tab already uses.
