Equations, backed by their source
Type /equation in the editor to insert display math from LaTeX โ the same slash-command flow you already use for tables and charts. Like the rest of a source-backed document, an equation's content is hashed for attestation, so adding one doesn't break the provenance chain on a document you're already tracking.
Turn an AI planning chat into a survey draft
Surveyor's methodology assistant already builds a study from a research question you type in. Now you can also paste an existing planning conversation โ from ChatGPT, Claude, or anywhere else โ and it extracts a draft: study design, constructs, and questions. Nothing is created until you review every field and confirm; imported scales and AI-suggested questions stay drafts for you to check, not a finished study.
Also new
- Surveyor's results panel now asks which chart type you want โ bar or pie โ before inserting a distribution figure, instead of always giving you a bar chart.
- The share/embed card on every certificate is now fully translated. It was the one piece of
/verifystill rendering hardcoded English outside the page's translation coverage; it now reads correctly in Arabic and Hebrew like the rest of the page. /verify-figurenow shows the same signed-out visitor CTA as other shared pages (verify, review, transcript, saved searches). A visitor who signs up from a shared figure certificate credits its owner, matching how referral attribution already worked everywhere else.
Fixed
- Signing in through an institution's SSO could create a duplicate student account. If Folio already had a student account under the same email, it now stops before creating a second one and asks you to sign in with your existing account instead โ protecting against grades, enrollment, and attendance getting split across two rows.
- Generating a Discovery Agent briefing could crash for an agent whose search query was empty or missing.
