The idea

Press ? anywhere in the editor and a modal opens showing every available keyboard shortcut, organised by category — formatting, citations, navigation, and AI features. A clean, scannable cheatsheet that's always one keystroke away.

Why it matters

Power users shouldn't need to memorise shortcuts or hunt through menus. A good shortcuts overlay does two things: it helps experienced users move faster, and it teaches new users what's possible without leaving the editor. Most professional writing tools have this. Folio should too.

Where we are

Small lift — this is on our near-term list. The shortcuts already exist; we just need to surface them in a discoverable way.
