The idea

Press ? anywhere in the editor and a modal opens showing every available keyboard shortcut, organized by category โ€” formatting, citations, navigation, and AI features. A clean, scannable cheatsheet that's always one keystroke away.

Why it matters

Power users shouldn't need to memorize shortcuts or hunt through menus. A good shortcuts overlay does two things: it helps experienced users move faster, and it teaches new users what's possible without leaving the editor. Most professional writing tools have this. Folio should too.

Where we are

This feature shipped. Press Cmd/Ctrl + / in the editor โ€” or open it from the command palette โ€” to bring up the keyboard-shortcuts overlay.
