Run a plagiarism check on your document before you submit it. Folio highlights passages with potential matches against academic databases and shows the matching source. Not just a web search — a proper check against the same kind of databases your university uses.
Why it matters
Most universities run plagiarism checks on submission. Catching issues before you submit — especially accidental ones from poor paraphrasing or missing quotation marks — saves real pain. An unintentional plagiarism flag can delay your submission, trigger a review process, or worse. Having a pre-submission check built into the same tool where you write means you can fix problems in context, before they become problems.
Where we are
This requires third-party integration with academic plagiarism databases. We're evaluating options and considering how to build this in a way that's genuinely useful rather than superficial. Under consideration, but no timeline yet.
