A clean way out of Mendeley

Researchers can import a BibTeX or RIS export from Mendeley today. Folio keeps bibliographic metadata and user tags; local attachment paths stay on the researcher’s computer.

01

Open Sources in Folio

Choose Add source, then Mendeley. Exported BibTeX and RIS files can be imported there.

02

Review before saving

Folio maps titles, authors, identifiers, publication data, and tags. Existing sources are skipped.

03

Export still works

No connection wanted? Export BibTeX or RIS from Mendeley and use the same import screen.
